We support children's intensive care to help critically ill children & parents

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. . In January 2004 my youngest child Harvey-James fell ill with Meningococcal Septicaemia,Meningitus,as a result of his illness Harvey lost parts of his feet and hands, but thanks to the dedication of the staff on the PICU ward at St.Marys hospital and the support of the COSMIC team Harvey has made an almost full recovery. Before Harvey fell ill, we had no idea what went on in paediatric intensive care wards and knew nothing of the dedication and hard work of charities like COSMIC. but, without these our story could have been very different.

I have never run a marathon before but will get my strength from Harvey to see me thourgh the many miles ahead of me to support a wonderful cause.

Thank you for visiting my page and your sponsor/donation really make's a differnce to this fantastic Charity.Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure, and if you are a UK taxpayer,an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you.

Many thanks to all my sponsors so far, having reached our target quicker than we could have ever imagined,we have been encouraged to raise our target.

I would also like add a special thanks Mr Tony Manni and Wilton Hall for their support.
