Momentum is the NI ICT Federation - we represent over 150 member companies who in turn employ over 13,000 staff within Northern Ireland. In general, the ICT sector is characterised by security of employment, above average incomes and access to many resources. 

Not all of the world is as fortunate.

In October 2008, I will be a member of a team of senior executives from within the ICT industry working alongside Habitat for Humanity, who are planning to build a house for a family in Ghana.

Most of the executives involved will use their own resources to cover all personal  costs of the trip - so virtually all funds raised will be used to support project work in Ghana.
