Firstly, Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Now, let me explain what this is all about...........

Members of the 'International Rescue Corps' (of which i am a member) are getting together to complete a walk 17th-20th October 2008. The walk will run the length of Hadrian's Wall from Bowness on Solway on the west coast all the way to Newcastle on the East coast, a total of 84 miles. It is my guess that the weather at this time of year could be 'interesting' so it should add another element to the challenge.

The money raised will go directly to International Rescue Corps, which is made up purely of unpaid volunteers and is financed through donations. Operations are conducted by IRC both in the UK and overseas and range from providing safety cover at events  to searching for survivors following natural disasters. All IRC's services are provided free of charge, our aim is purely to save life.
