Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Well I did it, Land's End to John O'Groats, 944.6 miles in 9 days, 1 Hour and 22 minutes. We started at 11.40 on Friday I June 2007 and finished Sunday 10 June. It was an unaccompened ride, we carried all of our stuff on the bikes. As you can imagine it was hard work and the support that all of you sponsors have given me was fantastic. Thank you very much.
I would like to thank all of you who offered beds, beer etc on the way but we just had to cycle. We started at 6am and usually finished at 8 pm. Our tarket was 100 miles per day. Our route took us through Bodmin, Crewkerne, Stow on the Wold, Newark on Trent, Thirsk, Otterburn, Kinross and Brora.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: COMBAT STRESS will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
With servicemen returning from Iraq and Afghanistan who need your help, please help me help them.
Many thanks for your support.
