We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On April 30th 2010 a group of 4 of us are cycling over 1000 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats in 14 days, averaging roughly 75 miles a day so will be the hardest thing I've ever done in my life (possibly the hardest thing I'll ever do!)

I've decided to raise money for Cancer Research as a friend of a friend has very recently passed away from Hodgkins disease, a form of cancer at the age of 28.  My nan & grandad also passed away from cancer when I was young so Im also doing this in rememberance of them.

Money raised will help Cancer Research UK carry on life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online – it’s quick, easy and totally secure.  If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating so that an extra 25%, plus a 3% supplement, can be added to your gift at no cost to you.

I have created a Facebook group for the ride which we will keep updated with our preperation etc - click here to join it

With less than 4 weeks to go until the big off 100's of miles have already been cycled in preperation for the main ride & we've encountered every kind of weather apart from sun!  Hopefully it'll be shining in the 1st 2 weeks of May.

By sponsoring me now you can help more people survive cancer.

Thanks for your support!
