Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm running the Great North Run on 20th September 2009 for a cause that is close to my heart, the Newcastle Upon Tyne Dog And Cat Shelter And Animal Sanctuary.

Please give generously to what I can safely say from experience is a wonderful cause. We have been lucky enough to give a home to two fantastic dogs from the shelter in the past few years - the two bundles of mischief pictured ;o)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Newcastle Upon Tyne Dog And Cat Shelter And Animal Sanctuary gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Update: I got round the 13.1 mile route in 2 hours 22 minutes. Sadly on the evening of the run, Sally (black dog in pictures) died unexpectedly. She is a great miss, and will be always. x

All sponsorship greatly appreciated,

Many thanks! - Mark
