Story
Hello - and thanks for visiting my latest SCOPE Ski Challenge fund-raising page!
I returned from Utah in March 2008, having completed my fifth such Challenge for SCOPE. To date, I've raised over £16,000 for SCOPE and 2009 will see me on Challenge No. 6! The same goal applies, namely to ski like mad and to raise more funds for SCOPE, for their work to support familes affected by cerebral palsy.
NEWS! The Tahoe Ski Challenge, which had been planned, was cancelled on 14 November, as too few particpants had signed up, due probably to "The Credit Crunch Effect"?
So - with the consent of all my sponsors to date - I have now switched events to "The White Peaks" challenge, to be held in Italy + France in the middle of March, instead!
The goal now: Clock up 24 peaks in just two days - just as I did in Austria for my first and second SCOPE Challenges. This is still a very physical challenge.... and the fund-raising is also an integral part of the challenge itself. .... as the saga above serves to prove!
Crystal Ski have once again kindly offered my flights and resort transfers (Thanks Marion!) and, as always, I shall be paying all of my other costs for the trip. So, EVERY £ that I raise in sponsorship will go entirely to SCOPE. It will NOT subsidise me at all!
So, do please sponsor me NOW - and help me to exceed my £3,000 target for 2009!
Many thanks.
