Palace to Palace 2017 · 1 October 2017 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My company, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has a long standing relationship with The Prince’s Trust.  Through various events and initiatives in the last year alone, HPE UK has raised in excess of £510,000 for the trust and impacted the lives of 631 young people.

This year I will be part of a HPE team who hope to add to that total by taking part in The Prince’s Trust Palace to Palace sponsored bike ride.  The ride takes place on Sunday 1 October 2017, starting from Buckingham Palace and finishing at Windsor Castle.

From a personal standpoint, The Prince's Trust were instrumental in helping my wife set up her florist business many years ago when she also had the pleasure of meeting with the Prince himself.

As most people will know, I do not count myself as a cyclist, I am most certainly not built like one and in fact, my most recent attempt at cycling (an 11 mile cycle on a machine in the gym), resulted in me spending the next three days walking like John Wayne!  So any help and support would be greatly appreciated and certainly motivate me through the training I am going to need!
