I am going to run the Glasgow Half Marathon along with one of my partners Dr Parkhill. I aim to raise money for St Vincents Hospice.

St. Vincent's Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people throughout the Renfrewshire locality. The service they provide to our patients and as colleagues is incredible.

St. Vincent's costs over £1.8 million per year to run - that's £5000 every day of the year! The Hospice is a Registered Charity, although they have some support from our local health board, financially they rely heavily on the generosity of donors.
