About my charity : Child Bereavement Charity Child Bereavement Charity
The Child Bereavement Charity (CBC) is a national charity founded in 1994 to help the many thousands of families every year who suffer the pain of their child's death, and also to help children whose parent or sibling is dying or has died. By listening to both children and parents, CBC strives to improve the care offered by professionals to grieving families both in the immediate crisis and during the many months following the death of someone important in their lives. We do this primarily by offering training and support to professionals, producing resources for grieving children and families, and by establishing support networks amongst families in the community and professionals in healthcare. My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I have decided to put my running shoes on again to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London on Sunday 12th October 2008.

The main reason is in memory of our dear little boy Jake who died on 20th November 2007  aged 2 years 7 months, all the other dear little angels and to raise much needed funds for Child Bereavement Charity, which has helped us and given support during this very sad time. 

Jake only saw me run in a race once, it was pouring with rain but he was there cheering me on and it gave me a immediate lift!  I know he will be with me in spirit when I am running this Half Marathon.
