British 10k London Run 2007 · 1 July 2007 ·

CARE International is a humanitarian organisation leading the fight to end poverty in the world’s most challenging situations. Women and girls are at the centre of our work, because we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.

Story

Welcome to my fundraising page! I'll be running in the British 10K (www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk) on 1 July to raise funds for Care International.

Feel free to donate through this site. It's fairly simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CARE International UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Don't have a credit/debit card? No worries. Visit http://r-w-m.blogspot.com/2007/04/faq.html for 'Frequently Asked Questions' (FAQ).

Care International (www.careinternational.org.uk) is making a pretty big difference in many lives around the world. They do a lot of work to provide assistance and relief to individuals, families, schools and communities in some of the world’s poorest nations.

Read about some of their longer-term work and the positive differences they are making here -

I've also set up a blog where I'll post some thoughts and updates on my preparations for the run - http://r-w-m.blogspot.com. Do pay it a visit, and if you haven't already donated, please do =)

Thanks!

Markus
