I did it!
In glorious sunshine on the 26th April I completed the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon in one piece in a time of 4 hours 1 minute. It was a great experience, apart from the last 3 miles that will live with me for a while.
Thank you all so much for your kind support and sponsorship it will make a great difference to the work Centerpoint does. You have all been extremely generous and I was touched by your emails and texts of support.
Highlights of the day included running with Iwan Thomas for a few miles and the jelly babies a kind lady gave me in the last mile, the lowlight has to be being beaten by a man dressed as a carrot.
