On Sunday 11th October we will be getting up early and putting on our walking shoes. We are aiming to complete the 13 mile challenge before dawn breaks around Windsor Great Park, the home of the original 1904 London Marathon.
Leaving the buggies and twins sleeping soundly at home we are raising money for Thames HospiceCare. Patients are not charged for the care they receive at Thames Hospicecare, and the government funds only one quarter of their costs. They rely on donations from local people.
£15 would pay for 1 hour of specialist Hospise nursing care, £60 would pay for 1 hour of THc Hospice at Home nursing, £150 would pay for 1 session at the THc Day Support Unit -Ascot, £570 would pay for an In-patient bed for 1 night - Windsor.
