On July 4th we and around 8000 other people will attempt to emulate the pro's and take on a classic Tour de France mountain stage  

The route will cover three mountain passes Col du Glandon, Col du Galibier and finally L'Alpe D'huez.  Total distance 174km (108miles) and over 5,000m (16,000ft) of climbing :  La Marmotte

The winning times will be around 7hours but with many other people taking over 12 hours and some just not finishing….
