Tamsin, never one to give up easily, has given up a fortnight of her summer vacation to complete the coast-to-coast in a second attempt (We've packed a crash helmet just in case! Only kidding Tam.) accompanied by two new budding walkers, myself (Abigail) and Graeme (Abigail's brother). Rebecca (Abigail's sister) is hoping to join during the second week for the final push.
A donation from you will make three weary walkers incredibly happy :-) Thanks in anticipation!

"We (Clare and Tamsin) have decided the best way to get in shape after months studying for our exams is to walk from Coast to Coast! Devised by the late Alfred Wainwright in 1973, our route runs 190 miles and links the Irish Sea and the North Sea via the hills, moors and valleys of northern England. It crosses three National Parks: the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. It is classed as CHALLENGING by the Ramblers association. We leave from St. Bees Head , and hope to finish at Robin Hoods Bay after ten days (that's 19 miles a day)! You can find out more about the route at http://www.ramblers.org.uk/INFO/paths/coasttocoast.html
