Story

Sports Relief at MHS

Two years ago for Sport Relief we went big with our Road to Rio challenge – covering 8118miles of our 1 mile course. This time we are trying something BIGGER and TOUGHER!

Within the PE Department and with special guests we are looking to row, run and cycle constantly from 1:45pm on Thursday 22nd March to 1:45pm on Friday 23rd March in our hall.

We have over 30 members of staff helping out with the event, I ncluding a celebrity guest, Head teacher Laura Sanchez and Deputy Head teacher
Paul Wicken.

Two years ago we raised just over £1,000 and with your support this year we are aiming for our best total yet.

If you wish to support us in our challenge there are a
number of ways this can be done:

  • Spiritually share the love / pain
    – you can watch us live online. We have a live stream that you can access and will show us on Youtube. The link will feature on our facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/MartinHighPe/
  • Financially share the love/ pain– you can donate and help us reach our target of £1000 donate. Text ‘mhpe90’ followed by £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to 70070.
Thank you in advance,
From the PE Faculty & guests.
