Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I'm running the Maidstone Half Marathon for the fourth time this weekend, and as well as competing for my club (Maidstone Harriers), I wanted to ask if as many people as possible would sponsor me, with the proceeds going to the Stroke Association. Thanks for your support.

THANKYOU TO EVERYONE WHO SPONSORED ME FOR LAST SUNDAY'S RACE. WHEEZED MY WAY ROUND AND FINISHED EXACTLY HALFWAY DOWN THE FIELD IN JUST OVER 1HR 54MIN. PIC SHOWS ALICE AND SAM OFFERING ENCOURAGEMENT AS I CAME THROUGH HOLLINGBOURNE. SPONSOR PAGE WILL BE OPEN FOR ANOTHER WEEK, SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD TO THE TOTAL, PLEASE DO.
