The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, situated in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, exists to help our patients achieve the best quality of life possible in whatever time remains for them. Where it may not be possible to add days to lives, we aim to add life to days for patients and their families.

Story

My Granny spent the last few weeks of her life in the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in the Gorbals.  Unfortunately Mo, myself and the kids were all in Canada when she got taken in and she died on the day we flew back, so we didn't get to see her in the hospice.  However, everyone said that the place was lovely and had a great atmosphere, despite the fact that most patients were in the last few months of their lives.

I have entered into the Glasgow 10k and thought I would see if I could raise a few bob to repay them for making Granny’s last few weeks as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.
