RTU serves the poorest families and communities in a remote area of southern India. Alongside healthcare and community development work, RTU cares for over 1000 children – abandoned or orphaned, often through AIDS. They live with foster mothers in four specially built “Children’s Villages” and are educated and supported to adulthood.

My story

Hi everyone, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This is my first triathlon and I have been training for about the last 6 months for it (although beer gut is still visible in the obscenely tight tri suit!). It is an Olympic distance tri, so 1.5k swim, 40k bike then a 10k run.

I would really appreciate any sponsorship that you can afford. I know times are hard, but this is such a worthy cause and one very close to my heart (my parents have been involved with this charity for over 30 years..I have quite literally grown up with it!).
