My story

Hi, this is my fundraising page for the Flora London Marathon. As a politician I have spent a huge amount of my time dealing with Children's issues, so once I got a place in the ballot for the Flora London Marathon for 2009, it made sense to raise money for this year's official Marathon charity, the Children's Trust.

Marathon's aren't easy. Those 26.2 miles are backed up by hundreds and hundreds of miles of training, mine started in late December and has included a number of difficult races to get me into the spirit. So,in supporting me, you will be recognising those miles of training and the hours of effort.
