WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME RAISE MONEY FOR ADAS A LOCAL CHARITY ? A SAWBRIDGEWORTH estate agent is pushing the pedal to the metal by competing in two mammoth bike rides for charity. Martin Farrington, associate director and branch manager at Intercounty, who are his official sponsors, takes on the 120-mile Dragon Ride in Wales in June and then L’Etap, a 100-mile course based on the Tour de France, in July. The 44-year-old said: "I took part in L'Etap last year and it was the hardest thing I've ever done. Unfortunately I never completed it so it’s going to be a real challenge but with the added motivation of the sponsorship I’m determined to finish.” The dad-of-two, who lives in Old Harlow, will be donating his sponsorship from both gruelling events to the Alcohol and Drugs Advisory Service. “It’s a great local charity that not a lot of people know about,” he said. “They don’t get a lot of support but they do really great things for both young and old without any financial assistance from anyone.
