Well as you can see I did paint myself purple as promised so I hope that is worth a couple of extra pounds from you all!!!!!!
I finished in a time of 3hrs 14mins & 34s, just better than I was hoping for.

Sunday 26th April. Just another Sunday for most, but for more than 30,000 people and I it will be a HUGE day. Why? The London Marathon and I am running it....again!!!! And this time I will joined at the start line by my brother, Graham.
Why?
For those of you that know me, I was widowed in November 2004 and I decided that something positive should come out of my wife's tragic death. So, I approached a local Leicester-based charity - Wishes 4 Kids and they agreed to set up a fund in my late wife's name. Hence the "Laura Hulbert Fund for Wishes 4 Kids" was started.
Over the last 4 years mine and Laura's friends, family and I have completed various fundraising events to help raise money for the fund. These have ranged from 11 of us completing a half marathon, 9 people completing a sky dive and Rob Mark (Laura's brother) completing a cycle rides from Leicester to Hunstanton and Great Yarmouth (thanks Rob!).
This year my brother, Graham, has also decided that he is brave (or stupid) enough to run the London Marathon for Wishes 4 Kids as well. So why not give twice as much on this page, or sponsor him as well on www.justgiving.com/grahamhulbert
Wishes 4 Kids is a Leicester based charity, run by a handful of amazing people who rely solely on fundraising and donations to grant the wishes of children. The average wish costs about £700 so I am hoping to be able to raise at least enough money for 2 wishes to be granted (please dig deep folks).
