<p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">On the 22nd April 2012 I will be running the Virgin London Marathon again to raise at least &pound;1,000 for Wishes 4 Kids........</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">and this time I will be running in fancy dress....and....</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">I will be aiming to break the world record for the "Fastest&nbsp;Marathon Dressed as a Fairy"&nbsp; </span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">This year I will be running as a "Purple Fairy" granting wishes for kids (get it!!!!).&nbsp; So please get sponsoring me&nbsp;as if I raise &pound;1,000 then I will attempt to beat the World Record for the fastest finishing time for a purple fairy!!!</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">For anyone who doesn't know why I am doing this then please read on.........</span></strong></p> <p><strong></strong><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="color: #800080;">For those that don't know, I was widowed in November 2004 when&nbsp;Laura was knocked down and killed by a dangerous driver.&nbsp;In my late wife's memory, Wishes 4 Kids were kind enough to start a fund so that we could raise money in Laura's name. This is the&nbsp;"Laura Hulbert Fund for Wishes 4 Kids".&nbsp; This will be the&nbsp;fifth London Marathon I will have run for Wishes 4 Kids.</span></span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="color: #800080;">Wishes 4 Kids has been created to grant a wish for children and youngsters in Leicestershire who are life limited, terminally ill, have experienced life-changing physical or emotional traumas, have suffered major abuse or are diagnosed as HIV Positive. The Charity grants wishes for those of eighteen years and below.</span></span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="color: #800080;"> <p>Wishes 4 Kids has already granted hundreds of wishes for local children.</p> <p>Sadly&nbsp;there is no&nbsp;magical cure for the suffering of these youngsters, however,&nbsp;we can all help&nbsp;bring a short period of respite. The time when a child has a wish granted is a moment that will be treasured by them for the rest of their life.
