Martin Kelly touched so many lives. As the days pass since his tragic and sudden death we are all amazed at the outpouring of affection and regard from so many corners.

Martin was a gifted surgeon, a passionate humanitarian, dedicated family man and friend.
His ethos, passion, enthusiasm and humour will remain cornerstones of Facing the World and we are even more committed to fulfilling his vision of helping the children marginalised by communities as a result of their facial disfigurement.
Although we will miss him more than we can comprehend, Martin will be with us in the smile of every patient; in the new found confidence of each child whose life has been transformed; in the shadows of each rebuilt face and in the laughter of everyone who has a new found joy in life.
Our thoughts are with his family to whom he was so devoted.
