Story
To raise vital funds for Grove House Hospice, on Sunday 9th June I am taking part in the 2013 London Ride Of Champions. This is a 100 mile cycle ride that follows part of the Olympic road race route and takes in the infamous Box Hill climb in Surrey. 'Wiggo sideburns' may have to be sported!
The belief is that every local patient with advanced, progressive life-limiting illness should receive the care they need to live as fully as possible at home or wherever chosen, to the very end of their life.
Grove House services include 24 hour Hospice at Home, Day Hospice, family support, outpatient clinics with doctors and specialists, occupational therapy and home sitters.
Incredibly 85% of the £6.5 million annual running costs are funded from the generosity of people like you. Every pound donated counts. Grove House has been able to support more than 10,000 families over the last 25 years.
Donating through JustGiving is simple and totally secure. Your details are safe and will not be mis-used. Once you donate, the money is sent directly to Grove House, efficiently and saving time.
So please dig deep and donate whatever you can. Thank you so much and my very best regards, Martin.
