Story
I'm lucky, my three monkeys are all healthy and are able to do anything they feel like. Some parents are not so lucky. Around 1200 families in Scotland have a child that has a progressive or life threatening illness.
It must be fairly hellish to know that your child will never reach adulthood. CHAS provides care and support to the children and their families to help their quality of live be good in the time that they have.
An idea of what your money will help pay for:
£5.00 provides a disposable camera for the hospice - capturing treasured memories forever.
£50.00 provides one to one care through the night for an affected child, giving mum and a rare undisturbed sleep
£100.00 provides 5 physiotherapy sessions for a child, relaxing sore muscles and joints and giving plenty of fun.
Intially my target is £500 so that i dont waste the place in the marathon, but i would want to provide much more than that. I will be putting in the first £100, to show my commitment to the charity and the marathon.I've got a blog up and running which i will detail my training and how its going:

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children's Hospice Association Scotland, (CHAS) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
