Until now I have been running to prove to myself that I can do it and I have not wanted to ask for sponsorship.   This has now changed.  I am under no illusions - it's going to be tough.   I have now run two half marathons and the thought of turning around at the end and running it again is still almost impossible for me to contemplate.    But I have reached the time in my life when I want to be able to look back and know that I have achieved something worthwhile.   I have been a spectator and now I think I can run it too.  

I have chosen to support The Children’s Trust in Tadworth, Surrey who not only provide a fantastic service for my local community but for the UK as a whole. Some of the children it helps have been born with a disability or life limiting condition; others have become disabled following an accident or illness such as meningitis
