I made it!  4 hours 34 minutes - not bad in the circumstances, believe me it was hot.  Slightly below my target time but I beat Matt Dawson by a minute, so I'm pretty happy with that.

More importantly, thanks to some superb support I've managed to exceed my fund raising target.  Thanks to all of you that have helped me raise funds for The Prostate Cancer Charity, you've all been really generous.

Walking was a bit of a struggle for a few days after, but the aches and pains and sunburnt shoulders are subsiding, leaving just some fantastic memories.  For anyone that hasn't gone up to watch the marathon, make sure you go at least once, the atmosphere is second to none.  Of course I would say it now but if you get a chance to run, do, you won't regret it.  I said for years I'd do it one year, and am pleased that I actually put words into action.
