Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Thank you for visiting this fundraising page created in memory of Martin Vipas.

Martin never let his cf impede a very active life. He seldom mentioned his condition, and just got on with things be it playing football, paintball, or his stock racing car.

I think everyone who met Martin will agree with my sentiments, that you simply couldn't find a nicer or more helpful guy in paintball or just life in general.

It's upsetting to lose a team-mate and friend - as Martin was definitely both, and would happily have done anything for anyone. Truly one of the best friends I have ever had the fortune to meet.

Best wishes go out to his family, friends and his partner.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Cystic Fibrosis Trust will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Samurai Paintball Team ran a collection for donations at the NSPL (Natwest Southern Paintball League) Round 3 Tournament in Reading on 22nd April 2007  and would like to thank everyone there for helping us raise over £200.

Samurai have also created a second team in memory of Martin 'Samurai MV' and both our teams actively support the CF Trust - details at: http://www.samuraipaintball.com

Please donate generously.

Many thanks for your support.
