Edinburgh Marathon 2014 for Macmillan

Edinburgh Marathon Festival Full Marathon 2014 · 25 May 2014 ·
Since I was a child, I have watched the many thousands of runners taking to the streets of the London Marathon for charity and personal goals. To a really unfit teenager who had never been on a run, finishing a marathon seemed like one of those amazing but unachievable goals. It wasn't until I finally gave it a try in the last few years that I discovered how much I enjoyed it. Now with several 10ks and a half marathon under my belt, I'm ready to complete that goal.
So I'll be running the 2014 EMF Edinburgh Marathon and will be trying to raise as much money for charity in the process as I can. And I can't think of anyone better to raise money for than Macmillan Cancer Support.
With cancer affecting so many lives, they are doing everything they can to ensure no one has to go through the fight alone. So if you can spare anything, whether it is a penny or a pound, please donate to their cause through my JustGiving page and I will be so very grateful.
