Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

Story

On the 16th July 2008 I will be setting off from John O'Groats and running 840 miles to Lands End in order to try and break the Female World Record.  For me to do this I will need to run 3 marathons a day for 12 days.

During my world record attempt I will be raising money for Beat - Beat eating disorders.  I had an eating disorder for 15 years, I was lucky enough to make a full and healthy recovery but many people are not so lucky.

Please give generously to this charity and help people get their lives back on the right track.

For further information on my running to date look at my website www.marvellousmimi.com

You will also be able to track my progress during the WRA on my website.

Thank you all for your support
