Hi - The Poole/Bournemouth Transverse Myelitis Support Group The money we raise will be used directly for the Poole TM Support Group which has been established since 2005 and meets quarterly at St Georges Church Hall, Oakdale Poole, DORSET BH15 3EU. The group supports people affected by Transverse Myelitis, and other rare neurological disorders such as Neuro Myelitis Optica, Acute Disseminated Endocephalomyelitis and Multiple Sclerosis.

The group has around 80 members with varying disabilities and age ranges from 17-75. Please sponsor us in this years challenge and help raise awareness of the support group and the Transverse Myelitis Society (the registered UK Charity that we are part of).

We are a non profit making Charity Group who is dependent on our own fundraising efforts and donations for the group to run. Our committee is made up of volunteers affected by Transverse Myelitis or other neurological conditions or are carer's to someone with a neurological disorder, giving us a deeper empathy and understanding into this rare condtion for our members.
