My world changed when I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer.  This page is about fighting for myself, for my family and for everyone who has been or will be affected by cancer.  

I have been training to run since October last year, through 6 rounds of gruelling chemotherapy and 20 daily sessions of radiotherapy.  I will finish my radiotherapy 2 weeks before this event.  

For some, 5km is a warm up, for me this has taken grit and determination to keep going.  

In entering this race, I wanted to use my story to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK who are carrying out vital research that will save, prolong and alter lives.  

This is not just about breast cancer, it's about the 200 plus cancers that effect all of us - whether directly or through a family member or friend.
