I am participating in a 3K run around Middlesbrough dressed in a Santa Suit on Sunday 6th December. Although 3K might not seem very far to run, it is for me :). I have been 'training' hard in preparation as I want to raise as much money as possible for Teesside Hospice and hope that you can give as generously as possible.
The run is in organised by Teesside Hospice, a local charity which offers care to patients, families and carers focusing upon pain and symptom control, as well as providing respite admissions.
I have got paper sponsorship forms, so those of you who get to see me can sponsor me that way, however, if you are unfortunate enough not to see me often, this is a secure way of donating. Your details are safe on this website and the money is sent straight to Teesside Hospice. If you pay tax please tick the gift aid box. This is so the government add an extra amount for every penny donated.
I want to stress that Teesside Hospice is a very well deserving charity who really make a difference to peoples lives. Please donate whatever you can spare as the money will be going to good use.
If any of you want to come and see me make a idiot of myself, the run starts at 11:30am in centre square (near the main library, I think!) but there are a lot of activities from 10am for non-runners.
Thank you x
