Fundraising for The Royal British Legion
Story
As I am running the Great North Run (half marathon) I figured I would raise some money for The Poppy Appeal.
The Royal British Legion provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependents. The emphasis this year is the need to help the Afghan generation of the Armed Forces and their families.
I will run my fastest, promise, and will try not to get cross with the other 53,999 runners!
