Over the next three years, Morgan Stanley will raise funds toward the construction of a new clinical building at Great Ormond street hospital, due to open in 2012. With several sections of the hospital in need of rebuilding over the next seven years, the Firm aims to raise £10mn, a substantial sum towards the total £146mn cost of the new "Morgan Stanley Clinical Building."

My story

Thank you for your interest in making a charitable donation in memory of Rita Korsos, Gabor Halacy's wife. Gabor has been so touched by the number of people who have reached out to him to express their condolences. It has helped him at this very difficutl time.

I have expressed to Gabor that many people would like to make a donation in Rita's name and he feels that Rita would want to help people who are not able to afford care and treatment when they are diagnosed with cancer. She felt very fortunate that she had proper insurance. He is now doing the necessary research to find the right charity as he is keen to be sure that donations go directly to those in need.

Morgan Stanley Foundation has assisted in this effort by enabling us to collect in Rita's memory through their site and they will also match the total collected. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. (If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.)
