I'm doing my thing for BBC Children in Need. As a grant maker, they support disadvantaged children and young people all across the UK. With our support, they are able to change almost half a million young lives across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland every single year.

Last year an operation left me totally disabled but riding my special Motomed therapy cycle has helped me recover much of my strength. The  full "Ride to Clyde" asks people to "ride" the equivalent of London to Glasgow but I could no way manage that! Instead I am pedalling  on my Motomed the distance from our home in Alnwick, Northumberland to Glasgow, which is 212 Km. I aim to achieve that before the Children in Need evening on 17th November, and will keep my sponsors updated.
