Thank you to everyone who sponsored me to run/jog/walk the Flora London Marathon on Sunday 22nd April 2007 for RNIB (Royal National Institute of the Blind, please see their website for more information http://www.rnib.org.uk).

Thanks to your generosity, I exceeded my target and I ran knowing each mile would raise ~ £150 for RNIB. The company I work for will gift match this site and my sponsorship form so the total raised will be approx £4000. Thank you for all the good luck messages and emails for the day. I was running in memory of my Dad who lost his sight before he died 10 years ago.

As the day was so warm, my target for a sub 4:30 time was superceded by an aim to get around the course in one piece. The day was fab, the support from RNIB, the other runners and crowds (including my Mum and Aunt) was wonderful and I would like to run it again...one day! My finish time was 4:49:57 and the splits are below:
