We enable people with blood cancer to survive by finding them stem cell donors

Story

We are so so thankful for the amount of people who have registered for Mason to help us in our mission to find him a match for his bone marrow - thank you all so so much you really are making the biggest difference❤️

Although we have had a massive influx in registrations for Anthony Nolan, they have contacted us directly to say that they really are struggling with processing the amount of applications, as it costs them £40.00 to successfully register each new donor. With this in mind we are now urgently needing donations to Anthony Nolan Trust for them to be able to send out testing kits and for us to find Mason’s perfect match😣🙏🏼

They are desperately needing funding to help the 25,000 people who’s applications are currently waiting to be processed.

We have set our ‘Mason’s Mission’ target as £10,000.00 which does seem a lot but this would help to cover 250 registrations and kits and allow us to continue our search for my baby Mason😔💔

Mason’s Journey:

Baby Mason has been diagnosed with JMML- Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukaemia. JMML is a very rare type of slowly developing blood cancer that occurs in young children, although we found this at an early stage Mason will need a bone marrow transplant.

The hospital have been absolutely amazing but unfortunately after searching worldwide there is no match for Mason due to his bone marrow being so rare. We need to get him to transplant as soon as, the hospital are looking at the end of Feb and using me as his first donor in the hope that this will help him until we find a better match. I would give my life for Mason but unfortunately I can only donate my bone marrow 3 times in a lifetime and I’m not a full match for him. Children with JMML live around 12 months after diagnosis, we NEED to find mason a better match. 12 months is not long enough for us to have with our boy, we are living the worst possible nightmare😢

Our hearts hurts so badly and I would like to ask if you would please please consider registering with Anthony Nolan, DKMS or The British Bone Marrow Registry to help our baby. This is non invasive and 90% of the time only involves taking your blood for the transplant. This could potentially save Masons life and others out there who are going through this. Please help us, someone out there must be a match for our boy😢

We need you all now more than ever! Anyone between the ages of 16-55 and in general good health can become a potential blood stem cell donor. You could save my baby’s life 😢💙

Every day, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. We do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. We also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond. We won’t stop until we save the lives of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant. Every penny you donate brings us closer to that day.

We are now desperately trying to find a Donor for Mason with the help of Anthony Nolan.

For every £40 they receive , they  can add and look after 1 new potential stem cell donor – the key to those lifesaving matches.

Please donate all you can to help save Mason and thousands of other people around the world.
