Story

I have created a blog if you wish to follow my progress

I hope to update each night, but I am relying on the availabilty of computer access during the evening.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

My son Richard was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in Jan 08. After undergoing chemotherapy treatment for the first half of the year he made good progress and was recovering well. In Oct 08, we were informed of its return and his need to undertake further treatment including a Bone Marrow Transplant.

Richard died of complications following his transplant on March 10th 2009. He was 16 years old.

In his memory and in an effort to provide future Leukaemia suffers with an improved chance of a positive outcome and ultimately a cure I would like the charity Cure Leukaemia to recieve the donations I collect in the event
