On Thursday May 28th I'm stepping in to the ring for the first time ever at the CRN Fight Night (www.crnfightnight.com) to raise money for The Peace Hospice. Read about there great work here - www.peacehospice.co.uk.

I have never boxed before, but when the opportunity to takle part in this event was presented, I couldn't wait to get involved. However I didn't realise what I'd let myself in for and after the first few training sessions I wasn't quite so keen - the training is tough!!

With a month to go the training and sparring has moved up a gear, and my fitness has improved as my waist line has shrunk. So to make all the hard work and pain worthwhile (black eyes and bloody noses - and more to come), it would be great if you could sponsor me for taking part and help to raise some money for this fantastic cause.
