Story
Welcome to the ‘Match the Pigeon’, Pigeon Sponsoring page. My name is Nicola Woodhead and I am helping out on this exciting new project with my son Chris in order to raise vital funds for Sue Ryder Care – Manorlands Hospice . As I work for Barclays I am able to double what is raised on this site up to a limit of £750 therefore your sponsorship of £10 for a pigeon will raise Manorlands Hospice £20.
Below are the Pigeons numbers and names sold so far, as you can see there are still a few left, please help to sell them all.

Match the pigeon takes place on Sunday 13 September 2009 at The Bolton Abbey Estate near Skipton. Participants can walk one of 4 routes of between 2 and 8.5 miles, whilst 50 pigeons fly home to Skipton from 168 miles away. The walkers must try to cross the finish line at the same time as the first pigeon arrives in its loft. To take part in this event go to www.matchthepigeon.org .
