Promoting Equality in African Schools (PEAS)
Promoting Equality in African Schools [PEAS] is a UK charity which aims to make a sustainable, long-term difference to the lives of African children. Matemwe school is a government school in a fishing village on the north east coast of Zanzibar. There are 1300 children enrolled. Some walk more than 10kms to reach the school. Facilities are minimal but the desire for education burns in the hearts of all.
Project PANGA MAGAE's intention is to help Matemwe School to bridge the digital divide and raise funds in order to buy, install and operate a classroom of computers. PEAS is administering funds on behalf of the project.
The money you donate will be used directly to support this project. For more information, visit: http://www.matemweschool.com and for more information on PEAS, please see: http://www.peas.org.uk
Many thanks for your support.
