We all know how easy it is to do a marathon, right? You just keep walking and then when you feel like you want to stop, you don't. I say this with confidence having never run a marathon or a half marathon or any long distance at all.
To prove my theory right in July I'm walking 60 miles (100k) through mud and shit with Ben who has a perfectly round little head, James who carries knives around with him, and Dan who I've never met or spoken with before. I never exercise, have never seen the inside of the gym, and get out of breath from playing video games. I plan to drink at least a litre of scotch along the way.
