CAFOD works with local partners and communities across the world - responding to emergencies, promoting long-term development and raising public awareness of the causes of poverty. We work with people of all faiths and none for a safe, sustainable and peaceful world.

Story

Hi there,

This year, I've decided to run the Great South Run to raise money for CAFOD, the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development. I'm asking for your support to ensure that I can raise as much money as possible to help support CAFOD's vital work.

CAFOD works to end poverty and make a just world. The picture to the left is of Baby Sidr, who was born during the cyclone bearing her name which batteredBangladesh late last year, and saved by the vital cyclone shelter built thanks to the work of CAFOD partners. CAFOD needs your help to continue helping the world’s poorest communities, and those affected by conflict or natural disaster.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CAFOD gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thank you

Matt.
