Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This October I will be following in the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay by embarking on a trek to the base camp of Mount Everest, all in aid of the ongoing fight against Cancer. This will be an 13 day trek (18 day trip total) accross tough terrain, stopping at villages along the way to meet the locals and camping down in freezing conditions.

We will start our trek in Kathmandu for a bit of sightseeing before moving on to Lukla to start our trek. The trek is aprox 53280m & mainly up! I've paid all my registration fees but my place relies solely on me raising a minimum £3000 (1/3 of which pays for the travel costs), however the donations dont have to stop there since it is for a cause which i'm sure most will support.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Lukes Cancer Centre and Guildford Undetected Tumour Screening gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
