I will be taking part in the Nexus RAG (Raising and Giving) week once again this year. In past years we have attempted many crazy things to raise money for Nexus, like the worlds longest paperchain, navigating 75 miles of canal route whilst playing marching drums, and trying to see 100 of London's greatest landmarks in just 24 hours, to name but a few.

However, this year will be the hardest challenge yet. We will be attempting to break the world record for the longest time spent playing drums! The current record stands at 60 hours, but we are hoping to smash this and take it to a massive 64 hours!

Yep, you havn't read this wrong, I will attempt to play drums, constantly, for 64 hours.

As you can imagine, playing drums for 64 hours straight  will be physically very painful, and mentally a very tough challenge.

We will start the drum-a-thon on the morning of Sunday the 3rd of May and will reach the end at about 3am on Wednesday the 6th!
