Story
Thank you for visiting this fundraising page.
Sadly our Matt lost his brave battle against a brain tumour on 23rd October 2008 and passed away peacefully at St Bartholomew's hospital in London. Matt had been fighting cancer for 5 years but retained such a positive outlook on life, living every moment to the full. He never wallowed or asked 'why me?' but continued to bring happiness and laughter to the lives of all those he met. He will be terribly missed by us all but I know that Matt would not want us to remain downhearted. Instead we must draw strength from his example, smile, dig-deep and try to enjoy life in the way that he did. God bless you, Matt and rest in peace now. We will always love you.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Brain Tumour UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
