KEEPTHEBEAT is a charity established to provide hope and support to the families affected by congenital heart defects. The Charity will have a particular interest in Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, but over time we hope to develop and cover all CHD's.

Story

The ride: We're riding from Seascale in Cumbria on the west coast, up over Hardknott Pass, through the Lake District, Yorkshire Moors, until we get to Whitby on the east coast. So 148miles, 4500mts of climbing all in one day (Sat 9th May 2015) !!

The reason: Harvey Lear, Bryan & Karens beautiful son tragically passed away in 2011, aged 7. Bryan wanted to do an annual challenge to raise money in Harvey's name and "Team Harvey" have so far completed London-Brighton (off road) & London-Paris (on road, but over 3 days!). The challenge this year had to be harder and so plans to do Coast to Coast In a day were set in motion.

We've joined together to raise money for charity. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal
