Our mission is to make the discoveries that defeat cancer. Our vision is that people can live their lives free of cancer as a life-threatening disease. We work on all cancer types incl. children's cancers, pancreatic, brain and lung cancer. Please support our work and help us defeat cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The past 7 years have been extremely tough.  Firstly, I lost my mum to breast cancer and then my dad to lung cancer.  Very recently my fiancé was diagnosed with a triple negative breast cancer and went through many months of Chemotherapy, finally having a double mastectomy and reconstruction.  She had already managed to survive 'Cervical Cancer' 8 years ago after being told that she had a minimal chance of survival. Fortunately all now appears to be okay. I have decided its about time I gave something back to the people that dedicated their lives to trying to find cures for this horrible disease that 1 in 2 of us will get. I will be running the London Marathon in 2021 (place confirmed as transferred from 2020) and will also be competing in as many shorter events as possible whenever I can.  I would be extremely grateful if you could spare anything to sponsor me and help me reach my target.  I will also be holding a charity quiz night and raffle on Tuesday September 7th at 'Ring Of Bells' Norton Fitwarren with cash prizes and at least 25 fantastic raffle prizes that have been kindly donated so far.  Please see me if you would like to enter a team.
